Course Overview

Web Design course is for everyone interested in designing and programming for the web. The course covers practical techniques of web design, introduces the participants to the contemporary web programming languages (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and opens the world of interactivity and multimedia with Flash ActionScript.

The course is hands-on based and offers step by step practical introduction into every aspect of client side web design and development. The course gives an insight into design and functionality of the web site, separation of content, presentation and interaction within web page, possibilities of interactive animation and multimedia programming with ActionScript, how to enhance user experience through intuitive interface designs and much more...

Principles of web design, web typography, colour and visuals, images and video for the web, browsers and web standards, content programming with HTML, designing with CSS, introduction to interactivity with JavaScript and modern API's (jQuery), web plugins, Flash and interactive animation, ActionScript programming.

Entry Requirements

There are no academic requirements to participate in this course. The only entry requirement is for the participant to be at least 18 years of age upon commencement of the course.

6 weeks (36 hours)

Timing:

2 sessions/week
Tuesday and Thursday
(18:00 - 21:00)

Financial Aid

Financial assistance

SAE Institute Bucharest, offers financial assistance to our students via: BRD “Student” product to qualifying students as well as credit based student loans from third party companies.

Credit Based Student Loans

These loans are available only to SAE Roumanian students with good credit and may require a co-signer. They may be used to fully or partially fund educational costs.
