What is it that makes a great Electronic Music track? Good software? Great sounding synths?More than anything, its the MUSIC that counts. On this Short Course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Music Theory for Electronic Music. This means we will be using modern artists, so rather than Beethoven we’ll be using Dedmau5, and instead of Mozart, it’ll be Swedish House Ma?a. The fundamentals of harmony, melody, chords, bass and scales are all covered in the 4 sessions, and will be practically applied in the context of writing a track from scratch! Everything we learn we will use in the reality of electronic music production, using Logic as the software of choice.
